THE CHALLENGE
Bumi Armada and Mubadala Energy needed a robust, execution-ready topside design to bring the Tangkulo FPSO into production in the South Andaman Sea, spanning sixteen distinct process modules that all had to integrate on a single converted hull.

NGLTech delivered full multi-disciplinary FEED across all 16 process modules, coordinating process, mechanical, structural, piping, electrical and instrumentation scopes into one integrated topside design ready for detailed engineering and construction.

THE CHALLENGE
The Vietnam Block B development required a reliable Condensate Stabilization Package delivered on a demanding consortium schedule, with the single-point accountability that only a full EPC scope can provide.

Working under the McDermott and PTSC consortium, NGLTech took the Condensate Stabilization Package through complete Engineering, Procurement and Construction, owning design, vendor management, fabrication and delivery.

THE CHALLENGE
The Mero-4 development in Brazil's pre-salt Santos Basin required a high-capacity water injection and produced-water treatment system durable enough for decades of continuous offshore service within a tightly constrained module envelope.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech performed the detailed engineering design of a 200,000 BWPD water injection and produced-water treatment system, plus TEG package, packaged into a 39 m by 24 m by 22 m module weighing approximately 2,900 MT.

A detail-engineered 200,000 BWPD module rated for a 35-year design life, delivering the throughput and longevity demanded by a flagship pre-salt FPSO.

THE CHALLENGE
Buzios, one of the world's largest deepwater fields, needed an exceptionally high-capacity water management system engineered to survive 35 years offshore without compromising the module's size and weight limits.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech delivered the detailed engineering design of a 220,000 BWPD water injection and produced-water treatment system with TEG package, housed in a 39 m by 24 m by 22 m module weighing approximately 2,900 MT.

THE CHALLENGE
The NC3 platform needed a compact, offshore-hardened mercury removal unit that could protect downstream equipment while allowing practical six-month filter change-out intervals.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech delivered the EPC of a 250 MT Mercury Removal Unit comprising three pre-filters and three fine filters (25 MT each), adapted from a proven QOC design to suit six-month change-out cycles.

THE CHALLENGE
PETRON's Port Dickson refinery needed to bring automotive diesel to the EURO-5M standard, a step-change reduction in sulphur, while integrating new units into existing, operating refinery infrastructure.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech delivered the FEED for a Diesel Hydrotreater (DHT) system reducing sulphur from 500 ppm to 10 ppm, including ISBL units (DHT, SWS, BSR) and OSBL modifications to tie into the existing refinery.

A FEED package enabling EURO-5M-compliant (10 ppm sulphur) diesel production, supporting cleaner fuels and regulatory compliance at an operating Malaysian refinery.

THE CHALLENGE
The PPL project called for a membrane-based CO₂ removal unit handling high-pressure, sour gas in exotic materials, engineered and delivered on an aggressive three-month schedule.

THE CHALLENGE
The Bokor Phase 3 re-development required minimum-facilities, unmanned wellhead platforms capable of high-rate production and high-pressure water-alternating-gas injection, with a 25-year design life, assessed through a competitive FEED.

NGLTech designed three unmanned WHP platforms, two oil producers and one iWAG injector, rated up to 15,000 bpd & 7 MMscfd (oil) and 40,000 bpd & 20 MMscfd (injection), engineered for high-pressure injection and a 25-year design life.

THE CHALLENGE
PETRONAS FLNG2 in the deepwater Rotan field required a high-pressure inlet facility for sour service, engineered to run 20 years offshore without dry docking, a duty demanding exotic materials and exceptional reliability.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech supplied a high-pressure, three-train Inlet Facility Processing System (900#) built on its patented SEP-iSYS™ technology. Each train handles 200 MMscfd using exotic materials for sour service, with cold insulation and fireproofing; key components include a 45 MT, 71 mm-thick vessel. NGLTech covered FEED, detailed design, procurement and construction (Phase 1) and pre-commissioning and commissioning support (Phase 2).
RESULTS & IMPACT
A three-train, 200 MMscfd-per-train inlet system engineered for 20 years of continuous offshore operation without dry docking, a flagship deployment of SEP-iSYS™ on a landmark FLNG.

THE CHALLENGE
The Tanjong Baram field needed a low-cost, unmanned wellhead platform tied back to existing infrastructure, with minimal modifications to the host facility and allocation metering for production accounting.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech developed and installed a conductor-supported, unmanned minimum-facilities WHP tied back via an 8.2 km flexible pipeline to WLDP-A, including minor WLDP-A modifications and allocation metering. The 236 MT topside was designed for 8,000 bpd (4,000 bpd throughput) and a 10-year design life. Scope spanned FEED, detailed engineering and procurement (Phase 1) plus PMT, pre-commissioning, hook-up and commissioning support (Phase 2).

A complete unmanned WHP delivered from design through commissioning, a compact, cost-efficient tie-back solution for a marginal Sarawak field.

THE CHALLENGE
The Foroozan field required a step-change in production capacity, integrated with existing infrastructure without disrupting ongoing operations, a classic brownfield production-enhancement challenge.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech performed the detailed engineering design of a new process and utilities platform (FZ-A), bridge-linked to the existing FZ platform. The 6,069 MT topside was engineered for a 25-year design life.
RESULTS & IMPACT
Enhanced oil production from 44,000 to 98,000 bpd and gas throughput from 158 to 258 MMscfd, nearly doubling field output through a well-integrated new platform.

THE CHALLENGE
As reservoirs mature, falling wellhead pressure strands recoverable hydrocarbons that conventional facilities can no longer process economically, leaving production and value in the ground.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech deployed its patented SEP-iSYS™ Low Pressure Production Unit (LPPU), which lowers the operating pressure of the production system so that low-pressure wells can keep flowing and be processed. The technology was installed for PETRONAS at the West Lutong (2014) and Angsi (2016) fields.
RESULTS & IMPACT
Extended the productive life of mature fields by unlocking low-pressure production. The LPPU programme earned Focused Recognition from PETRONAS and an OTC Asia award for the wider MPU family.

THE CHALLENGE
Mature and high-rate fields produce sand and low-pressure associated gas that erode equipment, constrain throughput and are often flared or lost, hurting both integrity and recovery.

NGLTech deployed its patented Compact Sand Removal System (CSRS) for cyclonic multiphase desanding and its Gas Recovery System (GRS) for bulk dewatering and gas recovery, including CSRS for the Bokor field (2017) and PETRONAS FLNG2 (2016), and GRS for West Lutong (2023).

Low-pressure gas streams rich in condensate are frequently flared or vented, wasting a valuable product and generating avoidable emissions, a growing commercial and regulatory liability for operators.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech's patented Enhanced LP-CRS™ (Low Pressure Condensate Recovery System) uses deep chilling with self-regenerative MEG to recover natural gas liquids and condensate from low-pressure sources. It was deployed for MISC MaMPU1 (2014), Tamarind FPSO Intrepid in the Philippines (2018), PETRONAS Erb West (2018) and Vestigo Tembikai (2018).

THE CHALLENGE
Hard-to-abate industries such as power generation, cement and steel emit CO₂ that is difficult and energy-intensive to capture, and most capture schemes create a new disposal problem rather than a useful product.
THE NGLTECH SOLUTION
NGLTech's VERDYGEN™ platform pairs TurboChill™ (flue-gas conditioning and pressure boosting) with AlgaeBloom™ (a bicarbonate-based continuous carbon capture and utilization system). The process conditions raw flue gas (0.2 barg at 150°C) and uses it to cultivate microalgae, recycling flue-gas energy for both capture and algae drying. TurboChill™ is patented and operational at multiple offshore sites (TRL 9); AlgaeBloom™ is patent-pending on lab-scale pilot success (TRL 7).
RESULTS & IMPACT
Captures 70 to 90% of CO₂ from hard-to-abate flue gas at low energy cost. 1.8 t CO₂ captured yields 1 t of cultivated microalgae, with roughly 6x more biomass than conventional cultivation and significantly less waste. Recognised with an OTC Asia award.

Conventional CNG loading and transfer is slow, energy-hungry and subject to thermal and pressure swings, limiting the economics of monetizing stranded and associated gas.

NGLTech's IsobaricGT™ delivers complete, high-speed gas transfer with minimal power consumption and no thermal or pressure fluctuations, enabling safe and efficient CNG handling.
